The best way to see Blackpool is to come by train.

Forget about sitting in traffic jams, security for the car, or trying to find a parking space when visiting the shops and sights, or being breathalysed on the way home in the morning after a late night and a few drinks.

ARRIVE BY TRAIN: Exit the station and turn immediately right, then simply walk on up the slope and at the top the High Street will be the first road off that you will see. DO NOT GO THROUGH THE PEDESTRIAN SUBWAY. We are only a about a hundred yards or so along High Street, on the corner at its junction with Banks Street. See our map further down this page.

On the day of departure you can leave your luggage at Chaucer House for collection at any time during the day or evening, giving you more time to explore the shops for those last minute impulse buys, or just to say goodbye to friends.

ARRIVE BY CAR: Follow the signs to Blackpool town centre, and then to Blackpool North Rail Station. It is a one way system and on the approach, immediately after passing Funny Girls and turning right, move into the left hand lane and drive as if you are going into the station. Almost at the point of no return, the last road on the left is the High Street. We are just a hundred yards or so up there on the right by the junction with Banks Street. Behind us is the car-park. With Chaucer House being so close to the train station, the tower, sea-front and town centre shops, you probably won't need the car at all during your stay!

ARRIVE BY COACH: The cheapest way to travel is by coach to Blackpool's Talbot Road Bus Station. Just walk up towards the rail station and turn left along the one way which leads you into the High Street. See our map below.

On the day of departure you may leave your luggage at Chaucer House until a few minutes prior to your coach boarding time, and enjoy the extra time to shop or have a leisurely lunch.
