The best way to see Blackpool is to come by train. Forget about sitting in traffic jams, security for the car, or trying to find a parking space when visiting the shops and sights or being breathalysed on the way home in the morning after a late night and a few drinks. Arrive by train and just exit the station, turn right and simply walk up the slope, (do not go under the pedestrian tunnel). Continue in the same direction into High St and we are just a few hundred yards on the next corner. Junction of Banks St. On the day of departure you can leave your luggage at Chaucer House for collection at any time during the day or evening, giving you more time to explore the shops for those last minute impulse buys or just to say goodbye to friends. By Car, just follow the signs to Blackpool town centre, then to Blackpool North Rail Station. It is a one way system and on the approach after passing Funny Girls, stay in the left hand lane and drive as if you are going into the station, as at the point of no return the last turning on the left is High Street and we are just 600 yards up on the right, behind us is the car-park, although with Chaucer House being so close to the train station, the Tower, sea-front and town centre shops. You really won't need the car at all during your stay!

By Coach The cheapest way to travel to Blackpool's  Talbot Road Bus Station.  Just walk up towards the rail station and turn left along the one way which leads you into the High Street. See map below. On the day of departure leave your luggage at Chaucer House until a few minutes prior to your coach departure boarding time and enjoy the extra time to shop or have a leisurely lunch.
