It's a mere two minute safe and well lit walk to the  Flamingo, the Flying Handbag, Funny Girls, and FG2. Just a few more steps will take you to the Mardi Gras, Pepe's bar, Taboo and all the other popular venues. Stroll along the seafront visiting the Tower and Blackpool's three piers, meandering along to the Pleasure beach and Waterworld. Or take the tram to Clevelys or Fleetwood for a day out. Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District by train make a superb day excursions by train. Don't forget Blackpool Zoo and Stanley park and the great shows at the theatres.

A place where you can unwind, relax, or just enjoy a good night's sleep. For this reason we do not cater for stag or hen groups. Be it business or holiday, Chaucer is "the" place to stay.

A large Pay and Display Car Park (floodlit,  patrolled and monitored by cctv 24hous a day) is available to the rear of Chaucer  House if you really need to come by car.

With the ample parking situated behind us, and only a two minute easy walk from either the railway station or the bus station, the Chaucer Guest House is the ideal base to return to for those unplanned breaks in winter or summer with your partner or just as a single traveller.

The Pleasure Beach with its more than 145 attractions is merely a short tram ride along the sea-front, and with the three Piers, the Sandcastle, the Grand Theatre, the Winter Gardens, the Opera House, the Sea Life Centre, Louis Tussauds and all the other entertainment venues that Blackpool boasts almost on our doorstep, you will soon discover that you are never at a loss for something to do.
